About the Project
Born from a love of place and a fascination with detail, Drawn to Newcastleis a growing collection of hand-drawn postcards that highlight the personality of our town’s buildings and businesses. Each piece is made with care using traditional techniques, drawing attention to the everyday beauty often overlooked.
Workshops are open to all ages and abilities — with opportunities to design your own postcard, learn about drawing techniques, and share stories of Newcastle past and present.
The project is proudly supported by a collaboration with The Crafty Macs, who are creating beautiful, bespoke products inspired by the same love for our local area. Together, we aim to celebrate Newcastle with heart, humour, and a good splash of colour.
This project is proudly supported by The Crafty Macs, local creatives known for their beautifully handcrafted gifts. From bespoke to personalised keepsakes, their work adds a thoughtful, individual touch to every piece. Helping celebrate the heart of the town and its people, they’re the perfect collaborators for Drawn to Newcastle.
